Checklick's different kinds of accounts can be confusing, especially if you are trying to manage more than one organization or storefront. Below is a visual explanation of how accountsorganizationsstorefronts and Stripe accounts all work together within Checklick.

One Person Managing One Organization

The simplest example is this: one person managing one organization:

Each person using Checklick has their own personal Checklick account. This is the account you use to log into Checklick.

If you are a manager of an organization, it's important to understand that your personal account is different from your organization's account. Your personal account has a username and password. Your organization account does not have a username and password (you log in using your personal account's username and password).

One Person Managing Multiple Organizations

You can manage multiple organizations under a single checklick account.

This means you don't need to create multiple personal profiles if you need multiple organizations.

To act as the manager (ie log in as) either of your organizations, just log in using your personal profile's username and password. You'll be able to switch from one organization to another without logging out. Just click the user context menu in the top right of your screen, and select the organization you want to act under.

One Person Managing One Organization, with One Storefront

If your organization is using Storefront, you'll have four things: a personal profile, an organization, a storefront and a Stripe account (for processing credit cards).

Note that each Checklick organization may only have one storefront. However, you can create as many different organizations as you wish (see the final example below), and under each organization, have a different storefront.

One Person Managing Multiple Organizations and Multiple Storefronts

It is possible to have multiple storefronts under a single manager. The best way to do this is to create a separate organization for each storefront you need, and then create a storefront for each organization (see diagram below).

It's important to note that Checklick will not let you use the same Stripe account for multiple storefronts.

You will need to log into Stripe directly and create multiple Stripe accounts under your email address. Need help with this process? We have a guide for creating multiple storefronts here, or else you can contact support, and we'll walk you through the setup process.
